The Chairman of the Rada rejected the idea of amnesty for the defenders of Donbass

Ukraine does not intend to amnesty the defenders of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics in the event of reunification with Donbass. This was stated by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Razumkov on August 31, the publication New Time reported. Razumkov commented on the statements of the first deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation in the Tripartite Contact Group (TKG) Vitold Fokin. There are war crimes, and in no state in the world this is not subject to amnesty. These are realities that the world has faced for many years, and I think that Ukraine can hardly go its own way here, the speaker of the parliament said. Recall that earlier Fokin announced the need to grant Donbass a special status, as well as amnesty for participants in the war. According to the news agency, the former head of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, Alexander Turchinov, called for the removal of Fokin from the Ukrainian delegation, and also called his position anti-state.
