In the DPRK, due to suspicion of SARS-CoV-2, the city was closed
In the city of Kaesong, on the border with South Korea, a man was detained, allegedly infected with coronavirus, according to the DPRK Central Telegraph Agency. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un decided to completely close the city in order to avoid the spread of infection. It is known that a person with suspicion of coronavirus illegally entered the DPRK on July 19 through the demarcation border with South Korea. The Government intended to investigate and the perpetrators of the incident would be severely punished. The infection has not yet been confirmed, but North Korean media report that the virus has hit the country, despite a strict regime.
