In China, almost 55 million people were affected by floods

Floods caused by heavy rains led to the fact that about 54.8 million people in 27 regions of China were affected, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of China reported on July 28. Floods in Jiangxi, Anhui and Hubei provinces led to the death or disappearance of 158 people, another 3.76 million people were urgently relocated to safety.
