Note that the investigation of this incident is carried out by the Finnish border service, and there is no final conclusion yet. In turn, on July 28, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation explained on this issue that on this day four Su-27 naval aircraft of the Russian Navy made a planned flight from an airfield in the Republic of Karelia to the Kaliningrad region. The whole flight was carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace and did not violate the borders of other States.
