Mandatory two-week quarantine will be canceled for tourists in Georgia

Anyone who arrives in Georgia from abroad after July 1 will not need to undergo a two-week quarantine. This was reported by the director of the Association of Airports of Georgia Tamar Archuadze, June 15, reported on the website Business Georgia. In the negotiations on green corridors, one of the key elements is precisely the opening of borders between countries with a minimum level of morbidity. In this situation, the so-called covid passport, which confirms the absence of a coronavirus from his bearer, will not be needed, Archuadze told reporters. It is worth noting that from July 1 Georgia plans to open borders for foreign tourists. Earlier it was reported that green zones will be created for them, in which guests of the country will be protected from contacts with outsiders, as in quarantine.
